You’ll discover the depth of twenty essential Hawaiian words while learning stories from each of the major islands–Kaua’i, O’ahu, Maui, and Hawai’i Island.

Teacher:

Lisa Waipio Werner is an alumni of the University of California at Irvine. Raised in a family of musicians and ocean sports enthusiasts in Kapa’au, Hawai’i (the birthplace of Kamehameha I), her hobbies include playing flute and guitar and racing outrigger canoes, as well as sharing the language and the stories of Hawai’i.
