In this workshop, we will expand the definition of what a journal can be and explore how a journaling practice can support and enhance creativity / creative projects. Sometimes a journal can become a container for your thinking process or a place to experiment tangentially to your usual creative habits.
Whether you currently have a journaling practice or not, there will be something for you in this workshop. Bring your journal along for a playful, inspiring session with author of journaling book, Write to the Centre, Helen Lehndorf.

Helen Lehndorf’s book, The Comforter, made the New Zealand Listener’s ‘Best 100 Books of 2012′ list while her poem ‘Wabi-sabi’ was selected for Best New Zealand Poems in 2011. Her second book, a book about the practice of journaling, Write to the Centre was published by Haunui Press in 2016. She writes poetry and non-fiction, and has been published in Sport, Landfall, JAAM, and many other publications. She has an essay in Massey University Press’s forthcoming anthology, ‘Home’.
